HOLLY’S HOLISTIC JOURNEY

IMG_4279.png

I’ve loved sports and being active my entire life. Despite years of soccer, gymnastics, volleyball, yoga, jogging, CrossFit and regular “working out”, I was never able to achieve the body I desired. I knew I had muscle, but I couldn’t really see it. I thought I knew how to eat healthy, but was very inconsistent with my nutrition. After completing an MBA, 23 years of Sales in Corporate America and raising 2 teenagers, I questioned if it was simply too late for me to look great? Was I just stuck with this squishy Mom-Bod forever?

Heck No!

At 48, at a goal setting retreat, I committed to getting in the “Best Shape of My Life”

I hired a high level bodybuilding coach. I learned about proper nutrition, supplements and how to train for a bikini body. Not only did I fall in love with bodybuilding, but what interested me most, was learning as much as I could about

“Eating to Lose Fat” & “Weight-Training for Noticeable Results”

As I cleaned up my diet, my body got leaner and stronger. People noticed, and asked what I was doing. By then, I had learned first hand:

“You Can’t Out-Train a Bad Diet”

Believe me, I had tried for 35 years! Since age 13, I suffered through the Low Fat, Low Carb, High Fat, Cabbage Soup, Starvation, Juice Cleanse, ultimately “High Anxiety Fad Diets” that seemed to work short-term, then left you heavier and more confused than when you started.

After a couple of years of daily reading, practice and research, I finally understood clean eating and made it my lifestyle. I started sharing nutrition & training tips with family & friends. I achieved the body of my dreams and won my class in 3 regional bodybuilding competitions. My coach believed in me more than I believed in myself, and knew I could perform at a higher level. He suggested I compete at Masters Nationals, where I won a highly coveted IFBB Pro Card! (International Federation of Bodybuilding & Fitness) This is something most bodybuilders dream of! I won 1st place in the 50+ age group, and shockingly also won 1st place in the 45+ age group too! I was hooked. The Universe kept pulling me towards coaching & helping others. In January 2021, I officially started Hollyistic Nutrition, a formal way of sharing my knowledge & experience with family, friends & people that are ready to:

Ditch the Diet Roller Coaster & make a Lasting Lifestyle Change.

Nothing gives me more satisfaction than teaching how to eat clean, how to weight train for visible results and help people with their accountability and dedication.

Helping People Learn to Build the Healthy Body of their Dreams is my Passion!

“Holly went above and beyond to help my husband and me achieve our weight loss goals. She provided a manageable plan and ongoing support through her daily check-ins and meal suggestions. She even offered to watch our baby so I could get a workout in - what coach does that? Only Holly. We both reached our goal weights within two weeks and have been able to keep it off two months later. She guided us to make a lifestyle change rather than a quick-fix diet. We can't recommend her enough.”

— JoAllan G, from Park Hill

Thank you!”
